Organic Garlic and Cheese Dog Biscuits

When you harvest your garlic or buy some at the farmers market, remember your furry friend.  Make some healthy treats.

Making dog biscuits is just as easy as making cookies. So why buy a commercial brand? When you make your own treats you know exactly what is being added. There will be a no byproducts or artificial ingredients, only wholesome organic food and love.

These dog biscuits are made with organic garlic and organic cheddar cheese. Your four legged family member will love you for their hand made delishes, nutritious treat.

Organic Garlic and Cheese Dog Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups organic whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup organic cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ¾ cup organic milk
  • ½ teaspoon organic garlic powder

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine organic whole wheat flour and grated organic cheddar cheese.

Add extra virgin olive oil.

Add the organic milk and organic garlic powder..

Stir until well mixed.

Knead dough lightly.

Divide the dough into two equal balls.

Roll one out onto a floured board to 1 inch thick.

Using cookie cutter, cut out shapes and place biscuits onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Add leftover pieces to the second ball and do the same.

Prick the biscuits with a fork.

Place in oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

Let biscuits cool completely before serving to your favorite furry pal.  

Store unused dog biscuits in the refrigerator.
