Fade Dark Spots With Pumpkin Mask

Those brown spots that women find so unattractive and annoying are sun spots. They are frequently called age spots but they are caused by years of exposure to ultraviolet light from the sun or tanning beds. Who wants to go around with these pesky brown spots on their face, hands or chest. There is an easy way to make a mask to help solve the problem and it only has two ingredients. Both ingredients are edible.

The first ingredient is pumpkin which contains antioxidants that fight the free radicals believed to speed up skin’s aging. Pumpkin contains vitamin A, (beta-carotene), and vitamin C, which helps to restore damaged cells. Pumpkin also contains amino-aquanine which is an anti-aging compound that helps repair damaged collagen.

The second ingredient is honey which has natural antioxidant and antimicrobial properties that help protect the the skin from sun damage and rejuvenates damaged skin. The amount of mixture can be increased by doubling or tripling  the amounts below.

Age Spot Mask

  • 1 Tablespoon organic pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon organic honey

Mix the 1 tablespoon of organic pumpkin puree with the 1 teaspoon organic honey. Apply to clean skin where there are brown spots. Leave on the skin for 20 minutes …Relax. Then rinse well. Pat dry with a soft clean towel.  Repeat if needed. Enjoy!
