Eat Local

Here are a couple of great reasons to buy fresh local or local organic foods:

Higher nutritional value
Purchasing foods locally maintains freshness, preserving
the nutritional content. This is especially beneficial if the
food is organic.

Reduce Greenhouse Emissions While
Conserving Fuel
Since food is locally grown, less fuel is consumed during
transportation.  Fewer greenhouse gasses are emitted
into the environment.  Keeps us and our environment
healthier.

No Harmful Chemicals
Organically grown food, does not use dangerous
pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers.  Less damage to
the Earth, to you, and your family.  Children who are fed
organic diets for a few days show a significant reduction
of pesticides in their bodies.  After only a few more days
the pesticide residue should be gone completely.
